Mary Jo Pehl - In Character Mary Jo and Paul Chaplin are the Two brains most responsible for The Amazing Colossal Episode Guide. While the rest of the crew was fliming the movie, they were stuck at BBI HQ writing the book.

She played Mrs. Forrester, Dr. Forrester's mom as well as other bit parts here and there. I season 7 she took over full time as Dr. F's mom who had moved in to keep him compay. Fan response was largly negative as people didn't really like her character. In Season 8 she's the main bad guy and as bad as I (and others) thought it would turn out, it turned out rather well. There's enough going on to make it interesting and take away attention from the fact that she has no motivation to send them movies. The point of the experiment was to find a movie bad enough that showing it to the rest of the world would break their will. The rest of the world is now comprised of monkeys, which she has already bent to her will. So.. now what? But the story line was never the reason to watch the show, although the new developments and new characters certainly make it tons more interesting than if they had remained in orbit over earth with Mrs. Forrester sending them movies from Deep 13.
