Episode: This is a great episode! And I'm not just saying that because of the Giant Lobster that terrorizes the city, although I must admit it did feel good to see one of my brethren asserting himself. Take that Red Lobster!! Muahahaha! Oh.
Movie: In this movie an effeminate teenager (Derrick) from outer-space lands along with some middle-aged Teenagers who are here to survey the land, to see if it's suitable for their Gargon herds (Actually Giant Lobsters). Derrick doesn't want to signal the gargon herds to come destroy this planet because he realizes it's inhabited by intelligent beings. Despite his commander's threat of TOTCHA! Derrick runs away to migle with the earthlings.
Intro:
Invention Exchange: Anticipating a ventriloquist boom, Dr. Forrester and Frank secure and retrofit some CPR training dummies with Ventriloquist animations. Dr. Forrester does a ventriloquist act for us:
Dr. F: Say "Hello" to the nice folks, Resusci
Resusci Annie: Hello, Nice folks!
Dr. F: Resusci, I implore you to be kind, and curteous to these clean, and well groomed people...
Resusci: I wanna go find some chicks
Dr. F.: But Resusci, you IS a chick!
Resusci: ....
Dr. F.: I say, Resusci, You IS a chick.
::Resusci starts convulsing::
Dr. F.: Oh, no! Frank, I think this is the big one! Ill revive Resusci and tell Joel about the movie, you dial 911 while drinking water...
The bots invent Scratch & Sniff report cards
Host Segments: Joel and the bots compare Real life to Reel-life, pointing out the differences between movies and reality.
Joel: My hip hurts, why?!
Joel and the bots jettison some movie snacks into space into a giant trash bin and sing the General Cinema theme song. Pretty good, actually.
Crow wonders if there is a supreme being, and the SOL is visited by a skeleton that just sits there till he collapses.
Conclusion: Joel and the bots put on a fashion show. Back in Deep 13 Dr. Forrester is having Dinner by candelight with Resusci, Frank has drawn a mustache on his face and is playing waiter...
Dr. F.(To Resusci): Then the clam says "I thought I was the Bi-valve!" Hehehe I see youve heard that one.
Dr F. (To Frank): Pour the wine, then push the button, Louis.
Frank: Oui oui, monsieur!
::Walks over by the camera::
Frank(Whispering to SOL): Help me!
Book: Mary Joe mentions TOTCHA!
Favorite Lines:
::Girl is in a pool swimming away from Thor(Evil Alien) he shoots her with the focusing disintergrator leaving nothing but her skeleton in the steaming water::
Joel: Too much chlorine!
Favorite Observations:
How could they have missed that?: The girl in this film looks EXACTLY like one of the more common female templates used in MAD Magazine. It bugged me through the whole movie how she looked so much like her, in fact I'm convinced that she is the model for that character.
