The Crawling Hand

Theater Rating:

Host Segment Rating:

Indoctrinationability: Poor

Episode: This episode was pretty good, lots of puns, I must admit I like puns, sure they're the dorky cousin of the joke (AKA the humerous story) but they have a certain endearing quality.

Movie: This movie is about 90 minutes too long. An astronaut is possesed by something or other, he gets blown up and his arm lands on a beach where some kids stumble on to it, the guy is inexplicably drawn to the body part and becomes possesed by it, the arm then runs around killing people and frames the kid (Tee hee, I just realized he could have blamed the one armed man).

Intro: Cambot creates canned applause for Joel (Plagerism, but I don't have time to watch this again right now)

Invention Exchange: Joel makes a circular saw that senses when your fingers are near and shts down. He demonstrates and cuts off his fingers. It's just a gag though.

The mads make arm extenders so they can be like Reed Richards from the Fantastic Four.

Host Segments: Joel wants to play some games but the bots aren't interested, he decides the next time he builds a robot he's not going to give it free will.

The gang sticks fake hands on their throats and have a death scene or three

The gang wonders how anyone could be afraid of a hand, or how a hand could be any sort of a threat, just then a giant hand comes up behind crow and smushes him

Conclusion: The bots come up with good and bad things about the movie then Joel gives them Ram Chips. Dr. F is being strangled across the room by Dr. E.

Book: Mike mentions Alan Hale's acting ability

Favorite Lines: Pretty much all of the puns involving the crawling hand were hilarious!

Crow: He really went out on a limb on that one

Tom: It's a good thing he's got a handgun
