     Ingeborg Eriksdatter Vik was born out of wedlock on 14 July 1860 at Vik 46/5 Grønevik, Nedstryn, Stryn, Sogn og Fjordane, Norway.4 She was the daughter of Erik Sjursen Grønevik and Brithe Iversdatter Indre Bø.3,2
     Ingeborg Eriksdatter Vik married Mathias Kristiansen Nave, son of Kristian Ulrikson Nave and Oline Josephsdatter Heggedal, on 20 April 1892 at Rugsund, Davik, Sogn og Fjordane, Norway.5 Ingeborg and Mathias had a son and two daughters.2 Mathias and Ingeborg (Vik) Nave with their three children. Ingeborg Eriksdatter Vik died in 1928 at Sogn og Fjordane, Norway.2
     "The oldest girl, Ingeborg, married Matthias Nave, outer Nordfjord; I visited there several times. There were some good trout streams. They had two [sic] children: Kristian, came to Canada and farmed there for several years, returned to Norway and I haven't heard from him since. Emma, married Alfred Solberg, came to Chicago, lived there until he retired, then moved to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho.
