     Matias Nave was born on 6 February 1921 at Nave 126, Rugsund, Davik, Sogn og Fjordane, Norway.1,2 He was the son of Kristian Olaf Mathiassen Nave and Rasmine Brobakke.
     "Matias, Kristian's son now lives/works the farm. He also has made many improvements, esp in buildings. He and Sigvor are hard workers. They live in part of the house and Kristian and Rasmene [sic] in the other." -- Alma Henden Stewart, Grønevik (1987).3 Matias Nave died in 1990.2
